The Punch Up Podcast, Ep.37: ’90th Academy Awards & Annihilation’

Following another hiatus many moons in length (again, for no particular reason), The Punch Up podcast is back! Again.

As usual the chaps take a look at what’s been going on the world of the reel, starting with a review of the 90th Academy Awards (basically an excuse to talk about Roger “The Deak” Deakins), some chat about Alex Garland’s latest sci-fi triumph, Annihilation, before rounding off with our thoughts on what folks have to look forward to during 2018. There’re also our top five films of 2017, and the return of the Knockout sees us do our best to knock Spider-Man 2 out of the top 10. Or keep it in. Either way, it dominates as usual.
